Items you will need.Web host.FTP clientIf you have a Garry's Mod, or GMod, server, you probably have problems with sending resources from the server to your clients. Your server has dozens of custom-made maps, sounds, textures and models and each one must be sent to the client. By default, the download limit in GMod is capped at 20 Kbps.

To work around this issue, you must use the fast download (svdownloadurl) feature. The fast download method allows the client to download your resources at HTTP speed. Go to the 'garrysmod/cfg' folder on your server and locate the 'server.cfg' file. This is the main server configuration file used by GMod.

Open the config in any text editor and add these lines at the bottom of the file:svdownloadurl 'svallowupload '0' svallowdownload '0'Replace 'www.MyHost.com' with the exact URL of the website containing your garrysmod folder.Save the 'server.cfg' file and close it. Close the FTP client.

DarkRP config settings.-This is the settings file of DarkRP. Every DarkRP setting is listed here. Warning: If this file is missing settings (because of e.g. An update), DarkRP will assume default values for these settings. You need not worry about updating this file. If a new setting is added you can manually add them to this file. Server.cfg is executed every time the server boots up or the map changes (changelevel or map command); autoexec.cfg is executed the first time the server boots (For example: Exiting Server then it's booting up, it will execute autoexec.cfg) Not executed when map changes.

Start the server. The 'svallowupload' and 'svallowdownload' settings are now forcing your clients to download resources from the Web host at HTTP speed.

Step #3 - Setting up Workshop CollectionGo to your GAMES LIBRARY then go down to GARRY'S MOD and click the BROWSE WORKSHOP button to access to the Gmod Workshop section.Go to COLLECTIONS tab and go to the button on the right side saying CREATE COLLECTION, click this and follow the whole prompt on creating one (Simple so i wont include how to fill it out). Now after doing so you must have at least 1 Add-on ready to be added to your collection, if you have an official one add it, if not just add a random one you are subscribed too. It doesnt seem to want to work?
