Thanks for correcting my faulty memory.Yes, I checked out Winclone at one point, and would have preferred it if it were supported, but settled on Casper to back up my Bootcamp partition. Of course, Casper runs within windows and I back up to a separate hard drive. I don't think Casper does disk images. I've never had occasion to restore or boot from the backup.

Pretty decent backup app though.I don't believe there is anything similar to Winclone now. IIRC, it was too high-maintenance. About the only thing I can think of is Norton Ghost. You would need to set aside a drive formatted as NTFS, or at least FAT32 (if your disk image wouldn't exceed 2 GB).Norton bought out the makers of Drive Image a couple of years back. So if you've ever seen that, that's what Norton Ghost is now. Norton essentially threw out their code.Anyway, you install it while booted to Windows. You can then make your backup right from the desktop.

Just don't do anything else while the image is being made so the disk contents aren't changing at the same time it's being backed up.To restore, you can boot to the Ghost DVD. I've used it for quite a while. It works very well.

I believe that CopyCatX can do 'block copies' of the entire drive, all partittions at once, have a look at it.Didn't know they had that! I use FileSalvage at times. Excellent software, so I would guess CopyCatX would also be good. I already have Norton Ghost (have had for a while), and it works great for creating and restoring Windows partitions.

The real nuisance is that you have to boot to the CD to do it.I would really like to get back to the functionality WinClone had of backing up or restoring Windows without having it tie up the Mac with the singular mode of Norton Ghost. Nice to be able to keep working while a backup or restore of a Windows partition is going on in the background.
